Super League Triathlon has been nominated in the Sports Technology Awards 2022.
Arena Games Triathlon powered by Zwift, which underwent a massive expansion in 2021 with improved events in London and Rotterdam, has been shortlisted for the Capgemini Innovation of the Year award.
It is the latest recognition for the remarkable blend of real life and virtual racing that has had the sports world buzzing, and has already snared a Sports Industry Award and a SportsBusiness award.
The full list of nominees for the Capgemini Innovation of the Year award are: AiSCOUT, iRewind, Kitman Labs, NBA, OpenBet, Sports Data Labs, Super League Triathlon, VAY AG. The winners will be announced at a London award ceremony on May 12.
Arena Games Triathlon powered by Zwift is set for even more significant growth in 2022 thanks to a partnership with World Triathlon, that will for the first time crown triathlon esports World Champions.
The series will take place across three events in Munich (April 9), London (april 23) and Singapore (May 7).
